Too Little Too Late
You get Justice in the next world,
In this world you have the law.
These thoughts were put by William Gaddis but this seems to be appropriate in the case of Ruchika Girhotra were in after 19 years also she hasn't got the justice. This is a real shame for the society that the convict was punished too late and too little.
Former Haryana police chief SPS Rathore who according to the sources molested a 14 year old Ruchika Girhotra at lawn tennis association office in Panchkula,Chandigargh in the year 1990 August 12 came out smiling from the court on December 21, 2009 after the court just handed him a mere punishment of 6 months and a penalty of Rs.1000. This proves that the law in Indian constituion is merely weak and anybody can commit a crime and get away with too little punishment.
Why the convict was not punished earlier? Why the Indian law didn't take any kind of action against SPS Rathore? These are some of the questions that has to be answered. This can happen to any one of us. Is it right to just sit back and watch the scene unfold like nothing has happened.
I would request all you people to think about child abuse that's been happening in India and the criminals who are getting away from thse kind of crimes which not only is a shame to the society but also not acceptable.
